Experience:

1978 1979 – PAR. Counselor/therapist for drug and alcohol addicted adults in Clearwater, Florida. I feel this experience made me a more sympathetic dentist, concerned with the fears and phobias of typical dental patients.

1983 2000 - Den-Care. This was a large multi-specialist group dental practice that I opened and managed. At its peak, in 1999, I employed six dentists and 15 auxiliary personnel. I handled all new patient exams, prosthetic, cosmetic and restorative care. The business was administered and controlled by myself, until sold in 2000. We provided ALL phases of dentistry in a comprehensive manner, with the needs of the “total patient” in mind. Our key was optimal service and 100% patient satisfaction.

2003 2005 - Linda Eaton Memorial Ukrainian Children’s Project. This foundation was developed and funded exclusively by myself for the purpose of providing dental care for orphans in the former Soviet Union. I worked as a dentist and consultant at several orphanages in Ukraine. Services were provided to teenagers who had no access to care. Named after my late wife, who passed away in 2000 leaving me with two children ages 3 and 4. I am remarried with a third child, all of whom are now in middle school.

2006 2009 - Gentle Dental. This is a 13 office group in South Florida, running HMO/PPO type dentistry. I was employed as a General Practitioner. The office I worked in is a multi-specialist group made up mostly of mature dentists seeking to deliver quality care to working-class patients.

Your general dentist takes responsibility for diagnosis, treatment and overall coordination of services to meet you and your family s oral health needs. Members of the Association are dedicated to continuing education to help them stay up-to-date with the latest procedures to provide you and your family quality treatment. Members of the AGD never stop learning and are required to participate in 75 hours of continuing education every three years. This is over double what is required by the state of Colorado. Dr. Eaton has earned almost 800 hours of continuing education in the last 12 years. This has allowed him to be eligible for fellowship in the Academy of General dentistry. There are only about a thousand dentists in the nation who qualify for this prestigious award.
