February 1999 to April 2002: US Navy Chief, Patrol Officer and Boat Captain on 11 meter Navy Special Warfare (NSW) Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB). Successfully led eight Special Warfare Combat Craft (SWCC) personnel and $750,000 worth of weapons, ammunition, classified communications equipment, and spare parts, operating world wide in the Caribbean, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Middle East. Highlights include assignment to Secret Service at G8 Summit in Genoa, Italy, in July 2001.
April 2002 - April 2004: US Navy Information Systems Chief (ITC) and Internet Systems Security Manager (ISSM) on board USS HAWES (FFG-53). Planned and executed tactical and administrative communications suite on board HAWES. Collateral duties: Chief of Damage Control Repair Locker, served on staff supervising and implementing weapons qualifications and training. Conducted hands on and classroom boat handling skills training. Deployed December 2002 to May 2003 in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
April 2004 to March 2007: US Navy ITC at Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center facilitating ship to shore communications for purpose of interfacing systems ashore technical help with shipboard staff.
March 2007 to May 2009: Action officer at Expeditionary Combat Readiness Command. Deployment: Iraqi Assistance Group, Baghdad, Iraq, May to November 2008.
