I have worked professionally as a User Interface Developer since 2007, working from

assistant code monkey and bug squasher all the way up to Senior UI Developer and Team

Lead. Along the way I've acquired rock solid HTML and CSS skills, a strong working

knowledge of JavaScript using the jQuery library, and a deep love for standards.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others as well as learning everything I can about new

methods and technologies in an independent or team environment. I am at my best in a role

where I am challenged to find creative solutions that have practical applications.

tasks, but am primarily responsible for user interface development using a variety of

technologies.

Responsibilities: Development of the user interface for a leading Yellow Pages directory

site (Yellow.co.nz). Template development for a Java based search platform using JSP/JSTL.

Implementation of comps and wireframes using cross-browser compatible HTML & CSS. Feature

development using JavaScript libraries, including jQuery. Development of a mobile Yellow

Pages site using jQTouch and a custom API. Daily use of JIRA for project management and

Git for version control.
