System Center Configuration Manager Deployment: Collapse several isolated Configuration Management solutions based on SMS 2003, Altiris and SCCM that existed in different parts of the organization due to number of reasons such as muti-vendor outsourcers, mergers & acquisitions and decentralized IT department. Proved the inefficiencies of the current environment and significant ROI for building a cohesive global configuration management solution while satisfying compliance and control requirements of every region. Lead an international team of 4 individuals from each region to develop and deploy common configuration management system based on System Center Configuration Manager 2007. The solution comprised of 1 Central Primary in North America for centralized and consolidated reporting, 4 Regional Hub Primary sites (North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe) 19 Secondary Sites with Proxy Management Point for Efficient Bandwidth utilization and Control, 40 Standard Distribution Points and 5 Branch Distribution Points for efficient remote software and OS delivery.

Technical Lead

In a fortune 500 chemical company, I served as a Technical Lead responsible for applying Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, and Gartner to design and deploy Comlpex Applications to meet the current and future needs of the business. I also served as a single point of contact for all Technical, Functional and Business Teams associated with the given project.

Lead some of the largest non-SAP projects at LyondellBasell with the budgets over $5MM :

Oracle Hyperion system 9.3: Implemented Highly Availability, DR Capable environment to handle all corporate financial consolidation and reporting. Final solution includes HFM, FDM, Web Analysis, Reporting, BI Shared Services and SmartView add-in for excel. Integrated Multiple org structures, Intercompany eliminations, Sub-entity structures, Sub-account tables, Currency translation across the global organization. The implemented solution was used to decommission multiple instances of legacy Hyperion systems, complex & labor-intensive excel based worksheets and other point solutions. All key financial information was migrated to Hyperion for both external and internal reporting. Established Data mappings and setup data feeds, integrations and synchronization via ETL, web Services and direct integration to/from sources such as SAP. Setup rules, calculations and reporting as well as security and provisioning.

BMC Remedy ITSM 7.5: Implemented load balanced, DR capable, high availability ITSM solution based on BMC AR System Server Group, Service Desk (incident and problem), Change Management, Asset Management, Service Request Management, Service Level Management, BMC Analytics and Dashboards Atrium Core, CMDB, N-Tuition SAP Connector & Engyro SCOM Connector. All hardware and software asset data was migrated from SAP and other sources to Asset Management Module while creating a CMDB to be used across all modules. Integration requirements were met by using built-in Active Directory connectors for LDAP authentication as well as extraction for User Information and attributes used in Service Desk. Integration with SAP was setup for Departmental and cost center information, Integration with Exchange was setup for email engine and workflow automation for incident and change management, Integration of SAP Workflow were setup via Web Services, integration with SCCM was setup via ETL, Integration with SCOM was setup via connector provided by Engyro.

DataCenter Consolidation: Facilitated merger and acquisition of Lyondell and Basell by migrating Basell US sites to Lyondell's infrastructure. Migrated server, network, user, data, applications and other services enabling LyondellBasell to in-source maintenance and hosting. Effectively utilized 3 Data Centers in Dallas, Houston and Rotterdam for optimum placement of servers and services

Global XP Rollout: Design and deployment of a single core operating system image to support 14 different models of PCs across the organization. Wrote workstation/user logon and log off as well as several build and maintenance scripts. In conjunction with security team, designed the group policies applied to workstations.
