I began working in logistics, to include, warehousing / transportation / inventory /

distribution. During this time frame I earned experiences as a dock worker, fork-lift

operator and advanced into dispatch and ultimately earned a level of Terminal Mgr, [to 43-

Drivers].

My experiences in DOT Regs. also included personal experiences in semi-operations. And in

1992, when CDL was established, I studied and earned a Class-A license, with a HAZ-MAT

Tanker endorsement.

My current experiences have dealt with regulatory compliance and regulatory policy

writing, which included teaching or coaching by orienting employees to regulatory

compliance governed by SC state and federal agenies, [mainly SCDHEC / EPA / OSHA].

As Special Projects MGR, [including new site construction], one of my assignments created

and developed an Alternative Fuels Program. This assignment resulted with (2) State

funding grants, [2005]. The grants were used to help install Alternative fuels at (2

) C-

Store sites. And in 2005 the company began, for the 1st time, dispensing E-85 fuels. And

eventually added E-10 to all company fueling sites.

The focus of this position dealt mainly with EPA/DHEC Regulations compliance, with OSHA /

DOT / IRS / DOE / Dept of Ag consulting assignments occasionally. But also gained working

relationships and experiences with the Greenville Chamber, SCTA, and SCPMA.

I helped initiate and create the electronic MSDS availability, for easy customer and

employee access and compliance needs. After the '9-11' I also created the companies

Homeland Security Policy, [49CFR 172 - with the aid of SCTA], I wrote, also, the companies

Fall Protection and helped create & manage the Fire Safety policy(s).

My department, was partly responsible for all 1st responder Haz-Mat Response duties and

accidental employee investigations to determine RCA, to ensure best regulatory compliance

results within the companies 2-states, 80+ locations, and 750 employees regiment.

In 2005 I began negotiations with the 'Palmetto State Clean Fuels Coalition' in securing

monies / dollars from EPA, resulting with grants involving ethanol gallons. As a direct

result company ethanol sales grew from 35-K g.p.y. to 700-K g.p.m.
