ACADEMIC PROJECTS
MS2DB++: Disulfide Bond Determination by Combining Efficient Search and Machine
learning. MS2DB++ is an open-source platform-independent web application that
efficiently determines the disulfide connectivity in proteins by allowing users to
combine methods based on Mass Spectrometry data with methods based on machine
learning techniques. Available at: http://haddock2.sfsu.edu/~ms2db/ms2db++/
MS2DB+: Polynomial-Time Disulfide Bond Determination using Mass Spectrometry
data. MS2DB+ is a web application developed using PHP, JavaScript, and HTML to
determine, in polynomial-time, disulfide bonds in proteins using mass spectrometry
data. Available at: http://haddock2.sfsu.edu/~ms2db/disulfidebond/
Experiential Microarray Analysis System (XMAS): XMAS is a web application and a
downloadable software system for time-series microarray data visualization, analysis,
information discovery, and hypothesis formulation. XMAS was implemented using
Java, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and MySQL. http://tintin.sfsu.edu:8080/xmas/home/
Electronic Teamwork Assessment Tool (e-TAT): e-TAT is a web application which aims
to facilitate assessment and comparison of local and global software engineering
practices by querying data from different sources, such as hosting platforms and
online surveys, process this data and display it in a sophisticated, user-friendly way.
Agency of Distributed and Mobile Objects (ADMO): ADMO manages: (1) hosts
connectivity and objects creation, (2) objects cloning and listing, independent from
the host they are located at, and (3) objects migration and recovery. At the moment a
new agency hosted at any workstation becomes live it is able to manage any object
and its distribution between other agencies over the network.
