1. Supervised and prepared project premise, compliance

of Ultra Low NOX burners and SCR unit for heaters and
furnaces for the Shell Refining Company, Martinez,

an engineering firm representing the insurance companies to

engineering firm to review work orders and construction

4. Prepared and amended environmental permits, supervised
the water treatment system design, cooling water tower and
aerated lagoon basin and interfaced with regulatory
agencies during initial permit review, construction, start-
up and testing for the Sierra Pacific Power Company, Reno,
Nevada Coal Gasification Plant project.
5. Prepared guidelines for Industrial Environmental Audits
for refineries and RCRA/CERCLA closure and trained
engineers.
6. Identified major hazardous streams, prepared database,
developed control strategy, prepared concept approval
packages (BFD?s, PFD's, process write-ups, and AFE cost
estimates), provided regulatory interpretation and
technical guidance support, developed permitting documents
for air, water, hazardous waste (RCRA, NESHAP). Prepared
construction permits documents including soil/groundwater
remediation, clean-up certifications and participated in
state regulatory review and negotiations for the Shell
NORCO Refinery, RCRA, benzene NESHAP (BN) and process water
segregation (PWS) projects.
7. Conducted the benzene NESHAPS and RCRA/HSWA - TCLP
compliance study for the Marathon Petroleum Company,
Robinson, Illinois. Duties included review of existing
analytical data, PFDs and P&IDs, sampling and analysis of
major streams, preparation of benzene waste inventory, and
identification of in-plant hazardous waste reduction and
treatment alternative.
8. Evaluated various waste streams, developed compliance
documents, prepared treatment and disposal alternatives,
and cost estimates for on-site treatment vs. off-site
hazardous waste incineration unit for Fina Oil facilities
located in Louisiana and Texas.
9. Supervised a team to identify recycle/reused waste
stream, or treatment of liquid, solid and air pollution
streams, prepared emission inventory, conducted feasibility
studies for a zero discharge system including RCRA landfill
design and permitting support for All Pure Chemical
Company, Tracy, California.
10. Managed the remedial design for the removal of
petroleum hydrocarbons from filtrate during the dewatering
of sludge from the surface impoundment of RCRA HWMU's
closure, and designed a RCRA landfill for Occidental
Chemical Company, Lake Charles, Louisiana.
11. Supervised and designed sludge de-watering unit, a
landfill closure, and provided applicable permitting
support for Chevron Chemical Co., Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
12. Managed and prepared proposals, made client contacts,
presentations, and focus in marketing development in the
areas of air, water, hazardous waste, UST, pollution
controls, facility audits and compliance certifications.
13. Managed the RCRA facility assessment of the closure of
lead contaminated sludge ponds for Mannington Ceramic
Tiles, Mannington, North Carolina.
14. Managed the full scale RI/FS for a CERCLA site (Macon
Lagoon and Storage) in Cordova, North Carolina (1.5 MM$).
