I am presently working as Senior Cognos Developer for Capital Market area in BMO. This project involves requirement analysis, Datamodel understanding, planning report design and development of reports and changes in existing reports.

I have worked on Project RAW (Reporting, Analytics and Workflow). The RAW project aims to enhance the timeliness, accuracy and comprehensiveness of Market Risk Analytics and oversight processes. The objective of this initiative is to implement a more robust reporting platform and replace the current reporting application.

Cognos 10 migration was done 6 months back and since then team is mostly working on development of reports in Cognos 10. Previous to that Cognos8.4 was being used in the project.

Flexcube is used by overseas branches of DBS bank to perform business functions like processing of trade, payment, fixed deposit, credit administration and finance. Flexcube is an Oracle based banking package. FLEXCUBE application is deployed in CITRIX mode. CITRIX MetaFrame technology is used over Wide Area Network for establishing the client connectivity from overseas branches to the CITRIX application server in Singapore.

Moody’s Financial Analyst (MFA) is the standard financial analysis and credit risk rating tool to aid and accelerate credit evaluation. It can also facilitate risk management. MFA is the 32-bit version of Winfast. Winfast is a vendor package from Moody’s. It is developed using VB with option for data storage. Bank implemented with Oracle Database.
