Mvions Mobile Navigator allows field service professionals to wirelessly link to and interact with enterprise data via a wide range of devices including PDAs, cell phones, and interactive voice digital systems. The product performs information navigation by both dynamically generating menus and processing natural language queries. Built both the Engineering and Customer Services organizations. Developed core product from proof-of-concept to finished product. Managed all phases of Joint Application Development effort. Produced the B2EE product architecture. Designed the product database. Wrote the patents for the intellectual property. Environment: NT and Unix using Weblogic Sever, Oracle 8i, XML, VXML, Java 2, JSP & EJB. The product allows for XML or EDI documents to be easily mapped into customer databases. Conceived and created the BridgeWorks product including the database, which holds meta-data that describes the relationship between the XML or EDI messages to be generated and the customers data. Presented company to venture capitalists for funding. Designed and built the proof-of-concept using Visual Basic. Managed the developed of the alpha version of a Web-based database product using Java and JDBC.

GoldenGate Technologies, San Jose, California 1/98 to 10/98Independent Consultant System Integrator working with Clarify to rapidly deploy all Clarify products into customer IT organizations. Complete responsibility for building the organization tasked with the implementation and delivery of packaged services in the Clarify Customer Care and Management market. Responsibilities included staffing, creation of service processes, and definition of roles. The organization grew to fifteen developers in a one-year period and accounted for three million dollars of revenue. Project Manager/Account Manager for multiple Quick Start projects for a number of customers. Introduced the Capability Maturity Model to the organization to insure a higher quality level. Wells Fargo Bank, San Francisco, California 7/97 to 12/97Independent Consultant ATM Group. Research and development of the Web KIOS ATMs program. Designed and prototyped the client transactions for the Web KIOS ATMs. The client prototype is written in Visual Basic using XML and SQL Server. The prototype allows for dynamic Web pages to be displayed to ATM customers. The Web pages are dynamically generated based on the intersection of the customer profile, the location profile of the ATM, and the banks ATM product offerings. EDI interface application between Tandem and a major Trading Partner. Technical Lead. Designed and implemented the EDI transactions for Tandem. The project planning system is used for financial planning and modeling. Designed and created the rules database used for modeling. Designed and coded the modeling functions including compiling and executing equations in reverse polish notation, sorting equations by dependencies, and algorithms for storing and retrieving large amounts of data in extended storage. Managed the Tandem Employees Compensation System project. Called in to drive a failing project to completion. Rescued the project by providing major assistance in the areas of Database design, project management, detailed project organization, and technical guidance. GATX Leasing Corporation, San Francisco, California 3/87 to 2/89Senior Programmer Analyst. GATX provides Financial and Leasing Portfolio Management. Maintained the Portfolio Management System. Developed the Fixed Asset subsystem. Corrected a long-standing (five-year) rounding error on amortization calculations. Calculations are now 100% accurate to within six decimal places. Received the outstanding achievement award for this accomplishment. Environment: HP3000, TANDEM TXP ENSCRIBE, COBOL, SCOBOL, TAL, PATHWAY, and TACL.

Wells Fargo Bank, Oakland, California 6/85 to 2/87Programmer/Analyst in the Consumer Credit Division. The Express Lease System is an on-line Tandem based accounting system to support the Company's auto leasing activities. Responsible for maintenance and support of the Express Lease System. Designed and coded major enhancements to the General Ledger System. Implemented amortization capabilities for the Leasing System. PBL Associates, Point Richmond, California 5/83 to 6/85Programmer/Analyst. Responsible for maintaining the TAPCALC financial modeling system developed and marketed by this software development company. Streamlined the TAPCALC calculator functions and improved the processing speed by 1300 percent. Provides on-site consulting services to primary customers.
