• Project title: Data compression using Huffman coding

Description: Project was intended to compress the size of the text file by using huffman coding

algorithm where each character in the text file is assigned a unique code in a binary format which

reduces the size of the file.

• Project title: Bollywood Trivia.

Languages: Java.

Description: The project was an android based quiz application where the user was allowed to

assess his bollywood knowledge through the quiz. It has two rounds trivia and rapid fire namely,

user has option to play a quiz based on music, actor/actress trivia and movie titles trivia. Scores

are given at the end of the quiz.

• Project title: Detection and Recognition of traffic sign boards from real time digital images.

Languages : C/C++

Description : This system is a part of an autonomous unmanned vehicle where it detects the

presence of traffic sign boards in real time digital images and recognizes the meaning of the

traffic sign based on the inner properties of the sign such as border, color of the sign etc. and

classifies it as cautionary or warning signs and provides an audio warning corresponding to the

meaning of the sign board.

Won 1st prize in THINK-11 a “MOVIE MAKING competition” held at SDMCET, Dharwad.

Won 2nd prize in INSIGNIA-12 a “FASHION SHOW competition” held at SDMCET, Dharwad.

Participated in “IT Quiz” at BVBCET, Hubli.

Participated in PAPER PRESENTATION held at BVBCET, Hubli.
