Development Project Highlights

1. PowerBanker:

PowerBanker is a comprehensive Bank Automation solution addressing the

entire gamut of operation of a bank including Retail, Wholesale, Treasury

and Risk management activities. It has been designed using the latest "n-

tier" enterprise architectural model and can be deployed with centralised,

tiered and distributed database. It supports features like electronic

banking, signature retrieval, ATM connectivity among other things. It

uses the object request broker and web based intranet technologies.

I have been involved in application architecture and in creating business

objects, functions and looking at the application frame work for

PowerBanker..

The application framework is based on Service Based Architecture, It uses

the service manager concept to access a method of an objects.

2. Performer

It is a Project Execution System that allows any company (Software,

Hardware, Telecom, Engg. etc.) to handle multiple Projects successfully.

The idea is to take over where regular Project Management Software like MS

Project finish. MS Project can be used for scheduling but Performer sees to

it that the Project is executed. It keeps track of Customer & its Contacts

details and list of Products being offered by the company and Projects

handled by company. A Product might be linked to multiple Projects being

undertaken in the company. All work to be done is linked to a Project.

Projects are broken into tasks that are assigned to various Team members.

It help in keeping tracks of the tasks, team, team member and also help

in billing the client on timely basis. It give various report which help in

knowing the performance of an individual which in turns lead to team

performance and project performance.

We have used PFC as the basic library I was involved in programming some

modules. We have used PFC library to build our application framework.

4. Branch Expenses Package

This system deals with the operations related to cash bank payment voucher.

Daily payments and receipts maintained. IOU taken by the people working and

payment and reciept report, expenses incurred by the senior people, and

made graphs according to it

5. Marketing software for DG genset:

This system deals with building project at a glance with price schedules

for all the products available with Powerica. It prints the total cost of

the project using specifications provided by the customer like site

location the capacity needed the type of engine. No of engine the SFOC

level the no of cylinders, the Company Name, the currency rate, cooling

water temperature etc. Used DDE and OLE concepts. This prints the report

as well as the letter.

system, customisation and implementation of the same for various client

requirements.
