functioning in ICU/IMC in all hospitals in the network. Manage critically
ill patients on ventilators, IABP, peritoneal dialysis, SWAN's, ICP.
Patients diagnosed with ACS, ARDS, GIB, neuro trauma, ARF, atrial and
ventricular arrhythmias, sepsis, etc.
7/00 - 06/01. Lone Star Hospice. Director of Clinical Services.
Coordinated all clinical services for a free standing
hospice covering 5 counties with an ADC in the 60's. Staff/client
scheduling, determination of client acuity, coordination of care between
various disciplines, enrichment of staff development and education,
employee discipline and evaluation, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities included PI, maintenance of the clinical record, ongoing
audits, evaluating and improving cost effectiveness and compliance in all
areas, providing back up clinical/administrative call.
1998-2000 Delta Area Hospice, Greenville, MS. Director of Clinical
Services. Coordinated total patient care for a free standing Hospice with
an ADC of 72 covering 18 counties. Staff and client scheduling,
determining client acuity, coordination of care between various
disciplines, coordination of staff development and education, employee
discipline and evaluation, development of job descriptions and compliance
with OSHA regulations.
