Project Overview:

In business management visual Boards techniques are used in many places where information is

communicated by using visual signals instead of texts or some other written instructions. The

design is deliberate in allowing quick recognition of the information being communicated, in

order to increase efficiency and clarity. These signals can be of many forms, from different

colored clothing for different teams, to focusing measures upon the size of the problem and not

the size of the activity.

In this project Visual display boards are used to sharing the information among manufacturing

management, employees and departments. In MHS the boards can serve like Plant commutation

like Real time Production vs Target activities, Shop floor machine downtime activities,

Warehouse and Replenishment activities, List of Machines Downtime, Production

Scoreboards and Display schedule like Duties and Employee assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Worked extensively on OBIEE Analysis and Dashboards to create the reports as per the

client requirements. Used session and repository variables to control access and data.

Used filters to restrict data.

• Responsible for Build, Implement and Testing of the Adhoc Reports and Dashboards in

OBIEE11g.

Project Overview:

In any production system, storing and managing bulk of manufactured products is not an easy

task. It demands proper planning, careful handling and arrangement of materials within the

warehouse. Arrangement of products according to their classification numbers. Warehouse

operator can easily find out the products that are in demand. The effective material handling

equipment is easy transportation of bulky of materials.

The necessary raw material has to be transported to the production site, and after the completions

of the production processes the finished goods have to be transported from the production site to

the ware house for storage for disposal and marketing. In this project production processes

consists more processing steps for additional handling facilities to transport material from one

production unit to the other.

Main goals of MHS are to reduce the unit cost of production. Improve the product quality

(reduce damage of materials) promote safety and improve working condition and control

inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Partnered with the OBIEE team in gathering and analyzing business requirements from

various sources, ensuring the business needs and delivery feasibility.

• Worked with the ETL team to design the Star Schema and populate the Data warehouse.

• Built the Physical Layer /Business Model and Mapping Layer/ Presentation Layer of a

Repository by using Star Schemas.

• Involved in creating Dashboards for the reports also using Guided Navigation and Links.

• Configured Web Catalog Objects (Dashboards, Pages, Folders and Reports) and

Implemented different views of report i.e. Pivot table, Titles, Graph, Filters etc.

Project Description:

Viacom International is an information management company having more than 300 websites

like mtv.com, nickjr.com, comedycentral.com, vh1.com etc.; The Platform Site Support group

will provide support for sites and application services that are implemented on platforms and

technologies that are standard within MTVN Online. We started supporting 75 sites and do

performance tuning and capacity planning. We are basically responsible for any site outages and

transaction failures.

Responsibilities:

• Created Users, Groups and giving the permissions in Administration Tool and verified the

permissions of the users in the OBI domain.

• Data model based on STAR schema concept using OBIEE 10g Administration Tool for

current and future reporting requirement.
