Primarily worked on-site at GM Tech Center - Cadillac Building Data Center. Throughout my admittedly short term at SEGL, I installed a 28 screen Barco brand video wall located in the Cadillac Building’s “Command Center,” as well as all supporting Barco equipment, associated hardware, network hardware, equipment racks, cable tray and cabling. While there, I also integrated and installed teleconferencing and audio/video equipment in twelve conference rooms located throughout the Cadillac Building. Equipment installed in conference rooms includes, but is not limited to, ClearOne brand teleconferencing hardware and dialers; Extron brand audio/video switching equipment, audio amplifiers, HDMI and VGA media extenders; and Epson video projectors all controlled by a Crestron user interface.
CCTV Technician, Camtronics Detroit, MI 2011-2012
On-site CCTV Technician working exclusively at Detroit Metro Airport. Managed the county’s CCTV system which consisted of Pelco 9600 and 6800 matrix bays and Pelco CC1 matrix controllers integrated with Verint and SmartSight encoders feeding encoded video to Loronix Video Management recording software. Installed, configured, and maintained Verint S4300 wireless bridges and Verint S4200 wireless transmitters to transmit video from remote locations. Performed service and maintenance on user workstations, recorders/servers, and wireless devices. Maintained over 500 cameras throughout the airport’s eleven square miles of property. Cameras maintained consisted of, but is not limited to, Pelco Spectre III, Pelco Spectre IV, and GE Kalatel CyberDome cameras. Specialized in the installation, service, and troubleshooting of networked based structured cabling systems.
