JOB EXPERIENCE

Engineer - Design

April 2012 to present

Asia Automation Pvt. Limited, Kothrud, Pune.

The company is a PLC and motion controller manufacturer for the Indian and export markets.

Job responsibilities included handling design projects. Extensively using “AutoCAD” in the

designing process. Completed two major projects for the company which required designing of

PLC Panels for die casting machines.

Application Engineer

August, 2011 to Oct, 2011

Spa Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Chinchwad, Pune.

Company a system integrator of Tata Honeywell, Pune. I was involved in preparation of bill of

materials for PLC panels, PID controllers, etc and generating and finalizing specifications based

on customer enquiry. Was also involved in PLC panel drawings in AutoCAD.

Design Engineer

Oct 2010 to July 2011

Cabinet Systems and Controls Pvt. Ltd. (Control Tech Automation), Kharadi, Pune.

Company is a Control Panel Manufacturer. Job responsibilities included designing and handling

design projects of control panels and plant automation. Effectively utilized the “EPlan” software

in the designing process.

Major Projects:

• Designed Single Line Diagram of PLC Panel, Control Desk, VFD Panel, and Remote I/O

Panel using EPLAN.

• Designed layout of above mentioned Panels using AutoCAD.

• Designing of Spiral Pipe Plant Automation for Welspun Corp. Ltd.

• Bead grinding machine for Welspun Corp Ltd., USA.

COMPUTER AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Reasonably competent in basic computer operations including MS Office, Power Point

and E- mail.

• Acquired training in PLC programming (Allen Bradley), SCADA.

• Extensively using Eplan Electric P8 Professional for designing of electrical panels.

• Reasonably proficient in AutoCAD (Versions 2006 and 2010).

ACADEMIC PROJECT

PLC & SCADA based Lift Control programming and design. Prepared a model of a 3 level lift

and developed the PLC logic for automated control of the lift. Used PLC which provided the

• Enhancement of embedded system by replacing PLC & SCADA for lift control.

• With the aid of PLC, there is flexibility and simplicity in the programming.

• SCADA provides central control & graphical display of operation.

Used technical skills in wiring, programming & interfacing.
