Senior Cognos Developer

Maxim is a semiconductor company that builds state of the art analog and mixed-signal IC’s. As part of the EDA team, my role was to develop a system ( Metrics Capture and Analysis) that gathers the statistics and metricsof a design based on its state. Project involved taking design data and generating web-based statistics reports.These reports are used for analyzing the resource and schedule requirement for future designs. A detailed reportof current state of the design with results such as congestion analysis plots, QoR, runtime, license usage, CPUrequirement etc. was created. Project team uses this data to collaborate and decide on next steps. Designed and built comparison charts, lists and cross-tab reports.

Responsibilities:

• Participated in requirements gathering meetings and be the BI subject matter expert.
