Payroll Specialist

Processed bi-weekly payroll on the Ultipro Payroll system for a large

corporation of 300 employees ensuring accuracy of computations, statutory

withholding, voluntary deductions and overall employee records. Monitor

timeliness and accuracy of data submitted for processing.

o Input employee maintenance such as new hire, termination, direct

deposits and W-4's.

o Generated reports for the CFO, Controller and Human Resources using

the Cognos Reporting System. Monthly reports are Matrix, Headcount,

Budget and Bonus Compensation.

o Applied for new state ID numbers and closings if needed.

o Created monthly payroll journal entries using the G/L Distribution

System from the Ultipro Payroll, bank reconciliations, insurance bill

processing and analyzing payroll accounts to the General Ledger.

payroll records, documenting and transmitting withholdings. Answer

questions that arise from employee or probation departments.
