Began career in paper mill’s technical department as process engineer. Worked in woodyard, pulp mill and bleach plant. Took position as shift paper testing supervisor, then was promoted into paper & analytical testing supervisor. Migrated over to manufacturing as market pulp process engineer and was heavily involved in product conversion from market pulp into fluff pulp product applications. Took on role of Pulp Dryer Supervisor and was responsible for 4 shift operation, including maintenance outage scheduling and coordination.
