I only recently discovered what I wanted to be when I grew up. Excelling as a Network Engineer, I found
t he I.T. industry to be repetitive and unchallenging. I possessed a rare quality in the field, an ability to
communicate and articulate in a way your typical I.T. guy lacked. After a year in Zimmerman
Advertising’s Help Desk, the EVP, Chief Client Officer challenged me to develop a holiday campaign for
Boston Market based on a single creative brief, the first I’d ever seen. Within a week, I designed a
p resentation defining the brand architecture of the casual restaurant and recommended a retail campaign
using copy points and art files. The presentation conceptualized the strategic direction for Thanksgiving
based on personally conducted competitive reports, while supporting the brandtailored campaign with

media and digital initiatives. Upon review, the CCO instructed me to interview with the EVP, Chief
Strategy Officer, who, after 3 meetings offered me a job as a Research Analyst. I was also offered the
position Account Executive for White Castle. After seven long years working in I.T., I finally got my foot in
t he door.
Achievements:
Developed Lent campaign with support from broadcast productions, print ads and point of
p urchase. Sales and t ransactions system wide rose 5% for the year in the fi rst two weeks of the
p romotion.
After 90 day evaluation, directed to manage t raditional retail team on most t rafficked account at
t he agency and spearheaded consecutive quarterly campaigns with under twelve week preparation,
conception and print ing/shipping timelines. Hi t all deadlines.
Balanced billing and budget requests and conducted weekly account reviews, utilizing
sales/transaction figures to gauge the financial climate of White Castle’s role in the QSR industry.
Negotiated fi rst-rate client relations through persuaded brand-focus discussions, concentrating the
m ission and vision of the QSR while implementing strategic and creative briefs and ensuring the
client stays at the cutting edge of industry t rends.
