ACADEMIC STUDY PROJECTS:
1. Minor Project: 5th semester (For Diploma Course)
Rewinding of Induction Motor: In this project we tried to understand the
fundamentals of the winding of Motor, so we rewound an induction motor in
term to understand the making of Magnetic Poles and to know how Motor is
rewound .In general most of the fault occurred in Motor is cleared by just
doing rewinding.
2. Major Project: 5th semester (For Diploma Course)
Lightning Arrester: The lightning Arrester is a device which is used for
protection of power lines & Electrical Equipment. Lightning arrester is
used to ground or earth the excessive voltage occurred in the system.
3. Project: 7th semester (For Degree Program):
Four Channel Wireless Control of Crane Motor: The 4-channel wireless
control is newly adopted in modern systems. This is very useful where
wireless control of the motor or any other equipment is needed. Wireless
control makes the control of any motor very accurate and gives mobile
facility. It is very useful when control is to be done from a distance,
e.g. cranes. This system is very cheap and easy to use. By increasing
number of channels we can improve the circuit and we can control several
motors at a time.
4. Project: 8th semester (For Degree Program)
Speed Control of D.C Motor using PWM Method: The speed control of D.C.
Shunt motor can be done by voltage control by using Pulse Width Modulation
(PWM) techniques. This is widely used in speed control of a D.C. motor. In
this by giving variable voltage in input respective volume of pulses is
available at the terminals of D.C. motor, so the speed of the motor varies.
