Job Objective

I am seeking the position of a surgical technologist in an organization where I am able to make use of my expertise and hands on experience in pre-operative and post-operative surgical procedures. I am looking to associate myself

to a group that will utilize my excellent communication and inter-personal skills, combined with my Associates Degree in Surgical Technology to assist growth within the organization.

Technique Experience

• Able to assist multiple surgeons with outpatient procedures involving scheduled and emergency

operations, in the core operating room.

• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical team utilized in operating room.

• Responsible for a precise count of all operating room instruments involved during surgical procedure.

• Liable for exact Raytecs, Lap Sponges, and Sharps counts.

• Downing and gloving surgical team, Collection of specimens taken for lab analysis.

• Staying sterile and draping the patient, and checking vital signs.

• Mentoring of Interns and Training Surgical Techs during surgical procedures.

surgeons seeking full time position as a Surgical Technologist.

Surgical Technologist : Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Specialty in ENT: Head and Neck, Oral, Maxillofacial, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery

Scrub Proficiency with GYN, Urology, General, and Labor & Delivery
