COURSEWORK PROJECTS

1. Created an Embedded RS-485 based bidirectional communications system between controller

and peripheral using PIC controller.

2. Simulated and studied the behavior of MIMO systems under several channel conditions and

coding schemes and the deduce quality of communication in each case. MIMO performance

was deduced by studying the bit error rate vs SNR curves for different scenarios.

3. Digital Signal Processing Projects include:

• Synthesis and generation of low pass FIR and IIR filters of given specifications on

MATLAB.

• Conversion of the obtained low pass filters into different kinds of filters by using impulse

response transformations.

3. Undergraduate project: Automatic Real Time Irrigation System

• Period: January - May 2011 Team Size: 4

• Worked in collaboration with fellow undergraduate students to design, simulate and

create a working model of a real time automatic irrigation system.
