Detention Officer
I would be responsible for the safekeeping on the inmates that were being housed at the Zapata County Detention Center. I was also part of the Cell Extraction Team. The team would be called out when there would be a jail riot or attempted jail escapes. On several occasions we would conduct a cell check to make sure no weapons or illegal narcotics were smuggled in to the jail.
