OBJECTIVE:
A position in the area of O&M Facilities Plant Maintenance and Facilities Preventative Maintenance. Past experience covers a wide range of responsibilities in Plumbing, Pipefitting, Boiler Services, Backflow Prevention, Heating and Cooling (Hydronic & Steam) Low Pressure & High Pressure Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Deluge Systems, Basic Pneumatic Controls and ETC.
QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS
“Employee of the Quarter” 1st quarter 1996 Quality Award Winner. Recognized for the Design and Implementation of a Spray System for Chrysler Corporation, Dayton Thermal Products Division. (I was informed by Union and Company Officials this Saved the Corporation Approx. Five Million Dollars in Warranty Work and Recalls, Thus the reason for the Recognition Award.
Promoted to O&M Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Supervisor for Navistar Corporation, Springfield, Ohio, Body Plant, Third Shift for All of Skilled Trades, The Powerhouse and Equipment Maintenance.
Through Suggestion and Implementation I helped to improve the output of the Paint house Humidity System, increasing the Quality of Paint Output levels approx. 10% to 15%, this was a Suggestion Award while working for G.M., Moraine Assembly Plant.
From 2007 to 2008 I dramatically improved the Fluidization Applications for the PPG Powder Prime Process for G. M. Moraine Assembly Plant, Improving the Quality and Total Usage from 80% to 94%, Resulting in a 1.5 Million Dollar Savings, immediately; and a .4 Million Dollar Savings Annually Thereafter. This became a Suggestion Award and a G.M. Video sent to Tim Lee, G.M. Vice President of North American Operations.
I was Guest Speaker for the Board at Sinclair Community College to help promote the start of the A.T.S Degree Program (Associate in Technical Studies Degree Program),
2003 Awarded the “G.M. Life Saving Award”, Aided in saving a co-workers life from being trapped and injured under equipment.
2009 Awarded the “Antarctic Service Medal” & “Winter Over Bar” from Raytheon & The National Science Foundation for Service and Support in Antarctica, McMurdo Station, Ross Island.
2011 awarded a Certificate of Appreciation NO SLACK 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry, as Plumbing Foreman for my willingness, Selfless Service, Dedication and Genuine Concern for the Soldiers and Civilians of the Task Force NO SLACK Team.
