OBJECTIVE
To plan organize and direct mechanical engineering activities and initiatives utilizing my
project/process/design experiences with developed abilities in planning/organizing and
problem solving. This will contribute to ensuring quality results on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive engineering experience in mechanical design and process/project management in
the manufacturing industry. Achieved success through:
Project/task/resource planning, organizing and coordinating to optimize
•
productivity, minimize costs and meet deadlines
Providing leadership through team building, identifying individuals’ strengths
•
and delegating tasks accordingly to achieve goals/objectives
Solid design capabilities in mechanical systems, manufacturing/assembly
•
processes production line layouts and tools
Problem identification, root cause analysis and decisive action implementation to
•
deliver resolution
Communicating effectively with technical and non technical individuals
•
Building strong working relationships to gain people’s trust and cooperation
•
Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid-work, Inventor, Pro-Engineer, Cosmos
•
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Performed feasibility research studies for mechanical system designs related to new coal
mines. Studies were accepted by management and investors and moved to the design stage.
Provided engineering support and project cooperation for a major coal mine. Mechanical
systems, including hoisting and ventilation, were delivered smoothly and successfully on
time and on budget.
Supervised and inspected the onsite mechanical systems installations and adjustments,
which solved the technical problems the customer had encountered. Received feedback from
the customer for the next design improvement.
Designed layout for several new products and manufacturing processes which met the
required technical standards and were brought to the market within budget.
Assisted the design team in designing a “ vision system” for detecting the material linear
shrinkage, which drastically improved product quality.
Audited product assembling procedures and analyzed quality related issues to ensure the
company achieved it’s “delivering best quality product to customers” goal.
