Tactics Program Manager, HSM-75 May 2011 - Present

Resident expert in all tactical mission areas responsible for training, qualifying, and preparing 67 naval aviators for

overseas combat operations while maintaining unit’s overall tactical readiness.

Demonstrating superb managerial skills as the unit’s Tactics Program Manager, leadership and dedicated efforts

resulted in a wing-level program inspection score of “On Track: Excellent” in October 2011.

Outstanding leadership efforts were recognized by being awarded the Helicopter Maritime Strike 75 “Officer of the

Year” and “Tactician of the Year” for 2012.

Program Manager, Helicopter Maritime Strike Weapons School, Pacific August 2008 – April 2011

1 of 12 West Coast subject matter experts selected to lead full-cycle project management teams for various tactical

flight programs standardizing community wide flight training and skill sets for over 400 fleet aviators.

As Pacific Fleet’s Night Systems Program Manager, authored the community’s overriding policy document which

standardized, streamlined, and markedly improved the community’s night warfighting capability and enhanced the

safety of the aircrew.

As Overland Program Manager, authored and published service-wide training standards to prepare fleet aviators and

aircrewmen for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief. Personally established training areas and made

recommendations that were adopted as Navy policy, vastly reducing risk of safety related accidents.

Senior operations officer responsible for planning and coordinating complex training schedules, aircraft and

maintenance requirements, range support and personnel logistics for periodic advanced helicopter flight training at

remote range facilities.

Operations Division Officer, HSL-47 February 2007 - July 2008

Directly led, managed and trained a 22-man division of search and rescue aircrewmen.

Personally managed a flight hour budget of $2,000,000 during an 18-month cycle.

Management of critical qualifications ensured division to fill all required positions for an aircraft carrier element and

three surface combatant detachments throughout a seven-month Arabian Gulf combat Deployment in direct support of

Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Exceptional management efforts resulted in division receiving the highest fitness and academic grades in 2007 during

Navy wide annual evaluation.

Helicopter Maintenance Division Officer, HSL 47 March 2006 - January 2007

Directly led, managed, and trained 31 enlisted helicopter maintenance personnel.

Led a highly effective aircraft corrosion prevention team that logged over 5,000 man-hours which resulted an

astounding 3:1 prevention to treatment ratio, reducing the overall cost to maintain and operate the helicopter fleet.

Provided maintenance on eight aircraft totaling over $240 million while providing safe execution of over 600 flight

missions comprising of over 1,400 flight hours.
