Academia Project Executed

Title: Multi Converter Unified Power-Quality Conditioning System(MC-UPQC).

Brief: Voltage sag / swell, voltage and current

interruptions found in power distribution system. Therefore,

project objective was to solve these problems by simulating MC-

UPQC. MC-UPQC is capable of compensating both voltage and

current simultaneously in a multi bus/multi feeders. In this

configuration one Shunt Voltage Source Converter (VSC) and two

or more Series VSC's are connected in back to back connection

with a DC-capacitor link. By using this MC-UPQC the power can be

transferred from one feeder to adjacent feeder and to compensate

sag / swell and also to eliminate interruptions in bus / feeder.

So, this is used to reduce the power interruptions either

voltages or currents and to satisfied the consumers. By using

this MC-UPQC to maintained constant voltages at feeder side.
