Professionals skills
Role: At present My Main duties carry out preventive maintenance and
calibration of field instruments as per schedule. Temperature mapping in
various equipments like cold room, warehouse humidity chambers etc. etc.
Responsibility include looking In- House projects and co-ordination with
vendor, contractors as well as other service departments to erection,
testing and commissioning support for field instruments and control systems
.Preparation of documentation like Preventive maintenance calibration
schedule, consolidated instruments list (Critical / Non Critical /For
Information only ) etc. . Attending day to day break down & troubleshooting
of the field instruments.
Control system Exposure: Projects team has Installed, Tested and
Commissioned 7 no's of DCS ABB AC 800xA 3.1version, (with IO capacity
ranging from 500 to 2500) 3 no's of Emerson DeltaV 7.3 version (with IO
capacity ranging from 500 to 1200) and 12 no's of PLCs Allen Bradley Micro
Logix-1200, 1500,540 and SLC-500 at various sites within the span of 7
years and I was associated with Ranbaxy Engineering & Facility dept.
-Project Mohali team. I am independently handled commissioning
activities like loop check, Logic testing, and finally handing over the
system to the Production. The responsibility included the maintenance of
the system after handover, attending the breakdown, doing day to day
repairing and calibrations.
Field instruments Exposure: I am well versed in handling HART Compatible
SMART Transmitters like Pressure Transmitters, level Transmitters, flow
Transmitters, temperature Transmitters, pH Transmitters, conductivity
Transmitters and DO Transmitters and well conversant with other Field
Instruments like Gas detectors, weigh scale, RTD's, Thermocouples,
various switches and Indicators. Timer Relays, signal Splitters variable
speed drive (VSD) etc. I am also handled Electric Pneumatic solenoid
valves, control valves, on/off valves, Pneumatic switches, limit switches,
valve petitioners and I/P Converters & handled installation, maintaining
of pressure/ vacuum, temp., compound, level gauges and Rota meters.

. Responsibilities include attending the breakdown, doing day-to-day
repairing, preventive Maintenance, calibrations, and carrying out the
troubleshooting of Field Instruments and process control systems.
. Route cause analysis of major failure instruments so that corrective
and preventive action taken.
. Install, test, & commission of various field Instruments (Transmitter
/ Sensor / Indicator / Controller / Switches / Gauges etc.) & process
control systems (DCS / PLC / SCADA).
. Controlling & Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as
checking and calibration of instruments.
. Prepare & update the Calibration Record as per GMP (Good Manufacturing
Practice).
. Calibration the electronic, electrical instruments and control systems
as per SCP (Standard Calibration Procedure) & SOP (Standard Operating
Procedure).
. Doing Work as per schedule, quantity and quality.
. Co-ordination with contracting agencies for Installation, Testing &
commissioning of instruments.
. Responsibility included for preparing the Instruments consolidated
list; calibration schedule.
. Preparing specification & data Sheets as per process requirement and
the same performing technical bid analysis.
. Also preparing As Built Drawings such as a Junction box schedule,
Instrument Air header schedule, Instrument cable schedule, final I/O
list, Instrument Index, cable tray-JB-Air header location layouts,
P&ID drawings for further approval and record
. To look after the general Shift independently & to report to Manager.
. Compliance of cGEP, cGMP, SOP's & SCP's as per guideline of regulatory
authority such as FDA US, TGA AUS, MCA UK etc.
. To Raise Inquiry for purchase of new instruments, Technical and
commercially finilsation of all projects as well as maintenance
Instrumentation.
. To maintain inventory for smooth operation of instrumentation.

Do Work as per Shutdown schedule and quality, coordinating with various
contracting agencies for Installation, Testing & commissioning of
instrumentation. Responsible for maintenance route cause analysis of major
failure instruments. Also Install, test, & commission of various field
Instruments and process control systems DCS / PLC / SCADA).
Responsibilities include attending the breakdown, at the time of shutdown
Maintenance and carry out calibrations, troubleshooting of Field
Instruments and process control systems.

calibration of instruments. Also prepared & updated the Calibration Record
