ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Maintain & control Mud parameters as per need.

. Control mud check and mud treatment.

. Supervise waste management operations.

. Give the mud tester directives to avoid or recover mud problems.

. Plan for chemicals order.

. Work in collaboration with the drilling supervisor.

. Control drilling fluid equipments on rigs.

. Prepare mud guidelines for new wells mud program.

. Working on optimising mud cost.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

. Drilling fluid programs for vertical and directional wells.

. Drilling fluid systems: CL-CLS, Fresh water Bentonite, Salt saturated

mud, KCl high temperature polymer, KCL / PHPA, XCD -Polymer &

completion brine.

. Drilling problems: Lost circulation, stuck pipe, unstable formations,

and caving, formations collapse, hole-cleaning optimisation.

. Control solid control equipments: Shale shakers; Desilter; Mud

cleaner; Centrifuge; vertical centrifuge.

. Cementing job.

. CBL and VDL interpretation.

. Under Balance drilling.
