Experience:
I have several years working in Customer Service, working with customers face-to-face and over the phone. I love working with the
public and believe, with my experience, I am very good at it. Most would describe me as being very dependable, loyal, and honest.
Learning new things is a definite passion, so any necessary training is always welcomed, and I am a very quick learner. My
customer service experience ranges from my position as a receptionist to working in sales setting appointments with cold calls. I
have several years of using computers, some formal training in school, and can type up to 60 WPM. Also, "real world" experience
with Microsoft Word, Exel, Powerpoint, and other basic computer software, along with high school training. Also, training with
accounts receivable, payroll and billing.
Previous Employment:
Convergys Customer Service Representative
November 2010-May 2011 Arnold, Missouri
I worked with AT&T customers having issues with their mobile devices. My position was in the Warranty department and my direct
duties included--answering calls, helping customers with basic troubleshooting, processing exchanges, answering any billing
questions customer may have, and notating account details.
Canton Discount Drugs Customer Service/Billing Representative
July 2008-August 2010 Canton, Mississippi
My duties at Canton Discount covered a large portion of the store and were all very different from anything I had ever done before.
My duties included -- assisting customers with purchases, inventory, monthly finance reports for store's accountant, producing
monthly statements for pharmacy accounts, filing paperwork necessary for Insurance billing, answering phones, taking down refill
orders and messages, assisting Pharmacists with filling prescriptions and preparing the orders for nursing homes in the area.
Clean Air Unlimited Appointment Setter
September 2006-August 2007 Columbia, Missouri
I worked setting up appointments from lists of potential customers that were generated from our clients. We were given lists of
names and numbers by our clients and we were to call them, verify if they qualified as customers, and set up appointments for them
to view our product. It was a very challenging position, but it also helped me become more assertive.
Group One Health Source Data Entry/Receptionist
October 2004-June 2006 Jefferson City, Missouri
My position here changed from my first day of employment to my last. It started off as an after school job with simple data entry, but
after graduating high school, I was offered the position as their Receptionist. My duties were -- answering phones, greeting guests,
keeping waiting room and guest bathroom clean and organized, data entry, filing paperwork, Microsoft Office and Excel, and other
miscellaneous duties assigned.
Education:
Holmes Community College
Ridgeland, Mississippi
I attended for a year to finish up some courses needed to be admitted into Bachelor's Degree Nursing Programs. These included
some Psychology, Humanities, Foreign Language and other basic courses.
University of MO--Kansas City and Columbia Campuses
Kansas City, MO/Columbia, MO
I attended classes on both of these campuses for basic undergraduate requirements. I took about 60 credit hours, including several
English, History, Mathematics, Composition, and Psychology. It took me through my first year to get any idea about my future
profession, so a lot of my classes were used to broaden my knowledge base.
Helias Interparish High School
Jefferson City, MO
I graduated from Helias in 2005 with my High School Diploma. While attending, I took several advanced courses and graduated with
five credit hours in Biology from Lincoln University. Helias also offered classes on basic computer skills which have helped develop
my skills with typing and basic knowledge on software.
Interests/Hobbies:
Working with others--I love being able to help people, whether it be a friend, or an interaction in Walmart, being able to say you've
made a difference in someone's day is a great feeling. Also, working with others in work--I have always had a great relationship with
my coworkers and love working with diverse groups.
Learning--I am a very quick learner and I love to learn anything I am given the opportunity to. One of my greatest strengths is being
able to learn different systems, ways of doing things, and any sort of formal training quickly
