Worked as CAT Trainer with Royal Salt Limited at their site Abakaliki in Nigeria.

Roles & Responsibility at Royal Salt Ltd:

1.Conduct / provide training on the following vehicle/ machine: CAT 7495HD Rope Shovel, Volvo 340 FM Heavy duty Truck, 740 B Articulated Truck, 374D Excavator, 966H Pay-loader, JCB Wheel Loader, Sino Howo CNG Trucks, Toyota Hilux, Hiace etc.

2.Conduct health & safety training and other technical trainings to operator, driver / team.

3.Monitor the maintenance of the vehicle / trucks and reduce downtime.

4. Ensure daily checks of vehicle / trucks are done and personally perform weekly inspections of the machine / trucks for any failures and damages.

5.Ensure the cameras, VISIONLINK and VTS on all the vehicle/trucks is up and running.

6.Maintain proper record of all fleet issues and liaise with the service team to resolve in time

7.Implement Groups fatigue management rules and other worker safety rules

8.Ensure VTS / GPS tracking is working and generate value added reports over speeding, wrong operation, machine abuse by operator etc. report to be part of weekly meeting.

9.Review and take actions from fuel consumption, production database.

10.Supervise preventive maintenance /schedule service of 374D Excavator, Cat 7495HD rope shovel, 740B articulated truck, 966H pay-loader, backhoe, forklift, grader, D8R dozer etc.

11.Listen & resolve day to day issue from operator, driver regarding everyday activity.

12.Manage operator, driver and operation of 60+ heavy & light vehicles.
