SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Provided proactive technical support, team leadership and software development/maintenance on multiple

high value projects in product database (using COBOL/DB2/ESP Scheduling), JDA forecasting tool and

replenishment systems (using COBOL/DB2/VSAM/ESP Scheduling).

Served as project lead/BA to replace old IMS on-line High Level Parameter Entry system in (COBOL/IMS) with

new .net based WEB system which brought new real-time data analysis, performance gains over the previous

system and mapped new views of the entire system. Worked with team members to develop new

COBOL/DB2 interface programs for the interface and backend process to support the new .net front end

screens.

Supported product Database system (using COBOL/IMS/DB2) which provided detail item information,

inventory information to order input system, forecasting system and purchase order system.

Maintained inventory forecasting system (using COBOL/DB2) which provided suggested order quantity for

purchase order system.

Led the integration and conversion efforts on converting JDA forecasting tool into Teradata DCM forecasting

tool to unify single forecasting system for store and internet business.

requirements into functional/business specifications; create use cases, technical design and test approach.

Team up with QA team to develop and execute test plans and test cases. Leading the client in user
