Materials Manager (2007 to 2009)
Recruited by former GE leadership at Heinz to map out strategy for the materials management organization. Oversaw $50 MM in
inventories/ annual operating plan (AOP) across 23 sites in North Amercia. Led a team of two direct and forty+ in-direct planners
and materials managers in setting up a standardized materials framework and best practices.
• $12 MM in network inventory reduction and 30% reduction in Days in Inventory (DII) through leading ABC inventory
initiative across all North American sites. Enabled 19 of the 23 factory teams hit their stretch fiscal targets
• Reduced ‘A’ item lead-times by 17% & 23% on our ingredient and packaging portfolios resulting in improved factory turns
and flexibility through challenging our sourcing buyers and vendor base
