Seeking a challenging position to utilize skills and experience as a

toolmaker, machinist.

A highly talented toolmaker with a varied background in setting up and

operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and

instruments: including fabricating, modifying or repairing jigs, fixtures,

prototype parts, dies and other precision machine instruments by applying

knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and

machining procedures.

o More than twenty five years experience.

o Thorough knowledge of conventional machines including mills vertical

and horizontal, lathes, toolroom lathes and surface grinders.

o Varied knowledge of CNC programming including Hurco vertical mills, EZ

Path Bridgeport lathes and Hass mills.

o Experinced at building and repairing dies and other intricate

equipment.

o Able to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such

as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth of cut or enters commands to

retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine programs.

o Thorough knowledge of set up procedures with a variety of machines and

situations.

o A highly skilled tool maker with a large investment in tools.

o Self-starter able to communicate, plan and coordinate work with

others.

o Excellent knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles

involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints,

drawings and models.

o Sound knowledge of applying principles, techniques, procedures and

equipment to the design and production of precision parts, jigs,

fixtures, dies and prototype parts.

o Knowledge or raw materials, production processes, quality control,

cost and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of

precision parts and instruments.

o Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply or divide quickly and

correctly.

o Experinced with AutoCAD and other relevant programs.

o Remarkable ability to think outside the box using ingenuity and sound

judgment!
