review; initiate and manage sorts of discrepant product; new program

product review and gate milestones; Initiate and review Corrective Actions

to suppliers of discrepant product. Review and Log daily end-of-line

discrepancies.

Elwood Staffing - June 2011 to Oct 2011. Quality Engineer at TI Automotive

- Ashley, IN (Recruited to TRIN)

Heavily PPAP-oriented position that requires reviewing incoming submissions

from suppliers due to a global material change affecting hundreds of part

numbers within the company. Attention to detail was critical. Other QE

roles as requested, including Capability Studies, trouble shooting and

problem solving.

Elwood Staffing - November 2010 to May, 2011. Quality Engineer - Contech

Castings -Auburn, IN (Laid-off)

Quality Engineer dedicated to a new, high volume product line. Establish

new, and upgrade the existing Quality system to maximize efficiency and

product quality. Responsibilities include PPAP submission, Corrective

Actions (both issuing and responding to), Control Plan & PFMEA revision,

Work Instructions, internal auditing. When fully mature, the new product

line will be the best running and most profitable in the facility.

July 2008 to October 31, 2009 ? Quality Engineer, Creative Liquid Coatings

Developed quality initiatives and bolstered the quality system in this

young start-up company. Provided PPAPs to, and interface with, OE

customers. Manufacturing process primarily provided industrial painted

(prime coat) "service" parts to the automotive industry as well as plastic

injection molded product.

January 2003 to April 2008 ? Quality Engineer/Supplier Quality Engineer,

Autoliv- Columbia City, IN (plant closed)

Processed quality and supplier quality systems with responsibility for a

large portion of the product supply base into the Autoliv facility. Issued

and reviewed responses to 8-D style corrective actions with an eye toward

eliminating reoccurrence. Maintained monthly supplier scorecard and PPAP

review. Manufacturing processes included urethane molding and assembly of

steering wheels and airbags.

January 2001 to January 2003 ? Quality Manager, Elite Enterprises - Ft

Supervised quality inspectors and lab personnel in an industrial paint

facility. Developed strong ISO-based quality system and took Elite's

function over inspectors. Primary manufacturing process consisted of metal

machining (Fort Wayne) and service parts packaging and distribution

(Albion, IN). Worked with inspectors and process personnel to develop

detailed, substantive work instructions.
