My duties where to cut grass on all right-of-ways for the town using various types of tools and equipment to maintain the Town of Garner’s public right-of-ways, clear of litter, overgrown weeds, an any similar items.

My duties where to perform lot recombination for builders, to due lot surveys every time a house was sold to verify there are no encroachments, started new subdivisions; Tryon Place phase 1,2, and 3, staked out all their property corners, staked their curb and gutter, storm water pipe, sewer pipes, in these subdivisions staked out the homes foundation, also property boundaries spanning from 8 acres to 150 acres ( had to accurate up to 1 and 5 thousands, but I have always completed task with 1 and 100 thousands)

My duties where to run harnstations, to take barometric pressure readings, to log weather codes for five and a half hours at a time, to set new geodetic markers, and get a five and a half mile radius and enter them into a national data base, working knowledge of tools and equipment used in performing boundary, geodetic, and topographic surveys, survey instruments including GPS receivers and controllers, data collectors.
