Description:

The proposed application intends to instantaneous policy issue capability

to MetLife's Term Life product offering. MetLife using this application

intends to target a class of proposed insured aged between 18 to 40 yrs.

The business application intends to automate the cumbersome application

data capture and subsequent manual Underwriting and issue process.

The solution intends to provide straight thru underwriting capabilities

and direct only adverse cases to MetLife underwriters for manual

intervention. The entire underwriting processes policies and procedures

will be encapsulated in the business application providing MetLife with

the ability to issue policies within minute's vis- -vis the manual

process turnaround time of weeks.

The following points describe the benefits MetLife will achieve through

this initiative -

. The solution automates application data validation, underwriting and

issue process.

. Only adverse cases are identified for manual intervention.

. Requirements ordering, management and reconciliation processes are

automated.

. The application supports the following 3rd party vendor checks.

. This system will offer the online premium payment experience to the

Description:

Client Reporting is an automated work-flow based project developed using

Intalio to give end to end solution to end users. It facilitates automated

or manual report generation. The reporting frequency can be daily, monthly

or quarterly. User can trigger the Reporting Cycle.

. The reporting cycle initiates with the Input monitoring process, where

after the audit checks the document is sent for Production.

. Production consists of 4 types; FMC and BO are external systems used

for report creation & Manual and MySS for manual report generation.

. FMC and BO reports traverse the Input monitoring, Verification and

Delivery stages. Manual and MySS reports traverse Input Monitoring,

Manual/ MySS Task creation and Delivery stages.

. Delivery can be Archival, Print, Web and Email as applicable.

. The project includes web services created in Java for Email delivery

with multiple attachments, Report Generation, File Poller, Property

Reader, Digitization, Application Logger and Email.

. It also includes creating maintenance UI for maintaining Database

tables.

. User can enter SLA miss details, Defect against the document.

. BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) reports for monitoring the process

using Birt (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool) Designer is also

handled in this project.

in Investment Act of Money Market Funds, 2a-7 process. The scope includes

the end-to-end automation of 2a-7 process by integrating an Investment

Research Management Software system, which assists analysts and approvers

in making investment decisions. The scope also extends to customize the

workflow dashboard according to end-users requirements and create custom

BIRT reports.
