Machinists Mate 1st Class (Submarines), assigned to the USS Kentucky (SSBN-

737) Gold crew. Responsible for the supervision, operation & maintenance

of a Trident-class submarine nuclear propulsion plant. Developed training

& qualification exams for the Engineering Department. As a member of the

Engineering Drill Team, I helped to plan, execute and critique engineering

department & shipwide casualty and tactical drills. Performed both planned

and corrective maintenance on nuclear submarine propulsion plant equipment.

Stood watch in the engineering spaces, and participated in fire control

tracking party exercises. Held a SECRET clearance. Honorably discharged

July 1995.
