Berg is a custom designer - fabricator of industrial large capacity refrigeration cooling systems. Developed software in Visual
Basic / VBA for quote costing and various engineering applications. My primary development focused on a Parametric configuration
program. The Parametrics application would size / estimate various types of industrial capacity cooling equipment, fluid pumping,
cooling towers, stainless steel tanks, and heat exchangers. Software would produce detailed bills of material, three dimensional Acad
models, graphs of flow rates and refrigerant capacities.
Engineering marketing and development a 100 page very successful Berg Chilling Systems commercial website (www.berg-
group.com). The Berg website averaged 1000 page hits per day of Berg product related inquires. A Request to Quote active server
page automatically sent incoming inquires via email to a Berg recipient. The RQ web site interface and the Berg website were design
to suit all internet browsers and internet compatible devices (Cell Phones). All logic was controlled on the server (Server side
application) with no local scripts running on the client computer system.
Network management 50-100 users, reasonable for network security, firewall configurations, virus detection / removal / patching /
formatting / setup of Microsoft Domain servers, Microsoft Sql servers, Microsoft Exchange mail servers / clients systems and backups.
Installation and maintenance of Microsoft application platforms - Domain controllers and member servers, Sequel(SQL 2000-2005)
servers with replication, Exchange email, Web mail servers, Internet Information service(ISS), Web site development and

Sidac Engineering

Sidac is an industrial and medical applications automation integrator. Most of my work focused on the development of (Visual
Basic or Visual C) Servo / Step motor motion control software and data aquisition.
Motion control software for cardiac flow(heart pump) realtime simulator package for used for medical research in magnetic
resonance equipment. The software controlled a servo pump to push fluid through a stringe type vessel producing an accurate
pulsating representation of the heart and various other arteries in different states of rhythm.
Motion control software for a NASA camera calibration system written in Visual C and Basic for a 12 axes servomotor controlled
automated rig. The Camera Calibration Rig was used to detect camera flaws or distortion in the lenses. The cameras were then used
in part to assemble the International Space Station. The software provided a means to repeat axis sequencing procedures, and
positional data logging.
