Resume
Work Experience:
09/13/2010 01/04/2012
Company: MarCom subcontract
through CWI
Description: I started at the Idaho National Laboratory
(INL) as a Junior Radiation Control Technician. I began working at the INTEC facility which primarily dealt with
performing surveys of Remote Handled Transuranic waste being transferred or
x-rayed for repackaging. I was then transferred to the Idaho CERCLA Disposal
Facility (ICDF). This was a low level radioactive
open ground dump site. Responsibilities
included survey taking as well as observation of workers dumping soils and
other random debris into the disposal pit. In February 2011 I had my oral boards and was promoted to the position
of Radiation Control Technician (RCT). I
was then transferred to the Advanced Retrieval Project (ARP). This location dealt with retrieving highly
contaminated waste, primarily high Alpha emitters. I made countless dives and am highly skilled
in performing surveys and support in HCA s and ARA s while wearing double set
of anti-c s and a full face PAPR.
July 2010 September 2010
Company: Idaho

Recreation
Description: I worked as a Visitor Center Assistant at the
City of Rocks National Reserve in Almo, ID. My duties included working the front desk at
the visitor s center as well as collecting campsite fees in the park
itself.
05/18/2009 08/20/2009
Company: CWI
Description: I worked as a summer intern out at the Idaho
Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center (INTEC) at the Idaho National
Laboratory (INL). I worked in the
department of radiological health physics and attained my Jr. Radiation Control
Technician qualification in June of 2009.
Summer, 2008
Company: Idaho

Recreation
Description: I was a Maintenance Aide for the City of Rocks National Reserve in Almo, ID. I was in charge of recycling and responsible
for policing of garbage cans and recycling receptacles. I was also in charge of maintaining all park
lawns. This included watering and mowing
the grass. I operated various park
vehicles including a dump truck.
Sept. 2004 Oct. 2007
Company: United States Navy
Description: I was a Midshipman at the Oregon State
University Naval ROTC. ROTC is an
officer ascension program that trains college student to become naval officers
upon graduating from college. My duties
included tutoring, mentoring other ROTC students, assistant physical training
officer, as well as Battalion Duty Officer (BDO).

Education:
High School:
Minidoka County Senior High School
Graduated May 2004, with
Honors
Secondary Education:
Oregon State University, September 2004 through December 2007
Description: I obtained a Navy ROTC scholarship to attend
OSU. I was disenrolled from the Navy in
Oct. 2007 because I was unable to graduate from OSU within 5 years, which was a
requirement from the Navy. My initial major
was in Nuclear Engineering but I switched majors to Radiation Health Physics in
the beginning of my sophomore year. This
is one reason why I was unable to complete my degree in time for Navy
requirements.
Idaho State University, January 2008 through May 2011
Description: I have completed my bachelors degree in
Health Physics.
