De Beers lacked security department when it opened US operations. Analyzed unique aspects of planned company locations to determine types of security, personnel and equipment required for each. Created and launched corporate security blanket across ten retail stores and corporate office. Sustained only $800 loss during seven-year US presence.

Investigated and solved $2M loss at Gucci 5th Avenue.

NYC retail boutique realized significant loss evidenced through analysis of inventory shortages. Managed comprehensive investigation. Identified 12 employees as participants in ongoing criminal scheme to defraud Gucci through diversion and conversion of inventory assets and commission of fraudulent transactions. Played key role in stopping national crime ring.

Groups of professional shoplifters and refunders were victimizing numerous retailers including 25 J.Crew stores. As coordinator of case, conducted different internal and external investigations in conjunction with security/loss prevention and investigations departments of victimized companies and U.S. Federal and local authorities. Gathered substantial evidence to build case against suspects.

Obtained complete restitution in employee theft case.

During Internal Loss Prevention Audit at TOPS, significant loss was discovered in Accounts Payable. Led internal investigation and compiled substantial evidence. Identified four executives involved in commercial bribery and conspiracy. Presented case to company President. Confronted executives and obtained signed restitution agreements from all.

Managed De Beers store roll-out, saving $3M.

Assumed additional role as Director of Store Planning to help expand worldwide luxury brand throughout US. Created and managed national Constructions, Maintenance and Repairs Programs. Rebuilt relationship with General Contractor and subs. Supervised construction progress in accordance with schedule and budget. Saved $2M in capital expense and $1M in operating expense.
