When Asha isn t working from nine to five as a graphic designer, she can often be found doing handy work fixing up her home, crafting custom letterpress invitations, putting together mood-boards for interior decorating & event planning, capturing the next picture, scribbling down a new haiku, or drawing up her own creations. Asha is simply a renaissance woman when it comes to all things creative and ever since she can remember, she s always known her future was in the arts.

To hone her innate skills, Asha studied Art and Design at Cal Poly, yet upon graduating Asha could not bring herself to leave the small, yet inspiriting town of SLO, and kick-started her career designing for the real estate industry at VREO, Inc. While at VREO, Asha trained and expanded her knowledge to include Web design by taking creative lead on the design of a state-wide MLS home research system for Realty World. After VREO, Inc. closed its doors in Spring of 2008, Asha joined the iii DESiGN team to become their Lead Designer.

At iii DESiGN, Asha found a niche in package design. She worked with clients such as Firestone Walker Brewery, Red Soles Winery, Ortman Family Vineyards, the SLO Children's Museum, the San Luis Obispo Art Museum, multiple divisions of Cal Poly and Big Sky Cafe.

After a solid three years served as the lead designer, Asha took a once in a lifetime opportunity to become the Graphic Designer III for her Alma Mater. Shortly after her start with California Polytechnic State University, Asha was placed to work on a rebranding effort University-wide where she created a new, updated identity for the school and redesigned the University website from the ground up.

Designed full website experiences, webpage layouts, navigation, shopping cart pages, and online forms.
