PROJECT PROFILE:

PROJECT#1(academic project) TITLE :DIGITAL CODE LOCKING DURATION : 2 Months (February1999- march-2000) TEAM SIZE : 2 ABSTRACT : Design of inexpensive and full proof locks .The circuit of a DIGITAL CODE LOCK uses an 8 bit digital code.The circuit uses just a handfull of CMOS IC's and other components.Correct sequence output can be used for operating a lock-release mechanism while incorrect sequence output can be used for interfacing to any warning device.The lock can be used for security system of bank's and can be extended for security of four wheelers also.

PROJECT#2 TITLE : TRAFFIC LIGHTS CONTROLLER TOOLS : RTX-51, dScope Debugger, 8051 MC and RS-232 DURATION : 50 Hours TEAM SIZE : 3 ABSTRACT : This is a time controlled traffic light controller. During a user defined clock time interval, the traffic light is operated. Outside this time interval, the yellow light flashes. The traffic flow of a simple crossing is controlled based upon a timing scheme. Pedestrians have the possibility to reduce the wait time until the walk light goes on by pressing the request button .on the other side approaching cars are detected by sensors, thus shortening the red phase if there is no crossing traffic.

PROJECT#3 TITLE : PARALLEL PORT PRINTER DRIVER FOR 80386 platform TOOLS : pSOS. DURATION : 100 Hours TEAM SIZE : 2

ABSTRACT : This is the software developed for printer connected through the parallel port to the target machine.This software also includes formatting the floppy as we perform in MS-DOS. All the devices Floppy, Serial Port and Console are initialized before performing operations. After initialization necessary code is written for formatting the floppy, writing the data into floppy i.e. in the form of files, reading those files and printing the data in the files on to the printer. This software is also checked successfully for scanner.

PROJECT#4 TITLE : INPLACE TICKET RESERVATION TOOLS : pSOS, pNA+, pRISM+,TCP DURATION : 100 Hours TEAM SIZE :2 ABSTRACT :

This software is developed for reserving tickets from your own place with out any risk. For example, in issuing tokens for DEVEDARSHANAM in devastanams like Tirumala, in issuing tickets for LIVESHOWS, etc. This is done using Transfer Control Protocol (TCP). All the clients at different places will be in contact for all the time with server at mainplace and data updating at one client will automatically update data at different clients present in the network through server. This is achieved by communicating through sockets created at all clients and the server. This software is portable and can be extended to N number of clients.

PROJECT#6 TITLE : LEVEL CONTROLLERS TOOLS : RTX-51, dScope Debugger, 8051 MC and RS-232

DURATION : 100 Hours TEAM SIZE :2 ABSTRACT :To design an application in RTX-51 for a tank.The application is such that it implements the communication between the pipes,valves and the level controllers. It has two pumps P1and p2.At a time only one pump can run for maximum one hour and then will start pouring water into the tank.Timer T checks the running time of pumps and thus controlls both the pumps.Another control schmeme is also applied on the pumps by measuring the level of water in tank using level controller(LC).Initially the valve V1 is opened 50%only.If the level in the tank rises above the upper level(UL) then the valve will be opened fully.If the water level goes below the lower level(LL) then the pumps will be started.
