As second in command of the agency, oversees daily administrative and facility
operations including policy, registration, financial and personnel operations,

information technology services, physical plant management, communication and
special projects and programs.

intranet and extranet services of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services. Policy level management of all content, system, transport
and security components.

Instruction of undergraduate and graduate credit programs in educational
communications for the Division of Instructional Technology in the College of
Education. Develop new course offerings within the Division.
1974-1987 Director, Maryland Criminal Justice Resource Center
Management of instructional media department comprising a criminal justice
system-wide library and media production facility, police and correctional
professional libraries, instructor training programs, photographic, magnetic and
graphic production facilities and instructional support services for all criminal
justice training in the State of Maryland.
Primary responsibility for identification, evaluation, selection and development of
instructional materials.
Additional duties included development and preparation of the agency Annual
Report, editorship of the Agency newsletter, "Training Notes", management of
federal grants, development of General and special Fund budget requests,
preparation of the agency Master Plan and development of the agency financial
management system.
