from 1997 to present.
Upon early retirement from his life long career in retailing Fuller, better known as GT,
returned to Atlanta from New York and joined his son Stephen at Stephen Fuller, Inc., an
Architectural Design firm as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

1997 During his tenure as President & CEO of this International retail product
manufacturing and sourcing organization Fuller traveled extensively, supervising the
company s over 200 production factories and fourteen offices in China, Korea, Taiwan,
Thailand, Indonesia, India, Central America and Mexico. Fuller s organization was
responsible for the importing of Billions of dollars annually in Men s, Women s and
Children s apparel, footwear and assorted hardline products into the United States,
Canada, Europe and Australia.
President & Chief Executive Officer, R/x Place, New York, N.Y. 1989 - 1992
Fuller was given the unique assignment of creating a new retail format that would quickly
capture market share in the highly volatile and fast growth deep discount drug store
business. Fuller put together a team of talented and highly motivated executives to assist
with the development and formation of the new company. His organization became the
standard in the industry. Fuller was the driving force behind the creation of a hugely
successful and award winning 25,000 square foot retail format with accompanying
merchandise mix that became the leader for the industry and dominated every market they
entered. The chain was developed into an ongoing business of over 50 stores at the time it
was sold as part of a strategic restructuring of the parent Corporation.
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Woolworth USA New York, N.Y. 1987-
1989 Responsible for the daily operation of the company s 2000 retail stores through six
Regional Vice Presidents and ten Corporate Vice Presidents. Fuller was the creative force
behind the formation of the company s new prototype store program which featured a new
interior design, customer traffic patterns, customer checkout systems and a repositioning
of the merchandise mix and pricing structure.
Senior Vice President Operations, Woolworth USA New York, N. Y. 1984-1987
Responsible for the supervision of all areas of Real Estate management, New Store design,
Construction and Maintenance, Accounting offices, Information Systems, Warehouse
management, Store s budgeting for expense management and Loss Prevention. Fuller was the
driving force behind the design and layout of the award winning new Woolworth Express
stores developed for high traffic convenience locations.
Vice President Marketing & Visual Merchandising, Woolworth stores USA
New York, N.Y. 1982-1984 Responsible for the national marketing and advertising program
for the company s 2000 stores across the U.S.. During this assignment Fuller organized the
creation of the company s first in-house advertising production department for the
production of print advertising, supported with Television and Radio commercials. Fuller s
creativity led the new department to create the company s first rotogravure tabloid
advertising inserts. This program became a standard in the industry. To improve the market
penetration of the Tabloid program Fuller pioneered the use of direct mail by zip code and
mail carrier routes for the program. Fuller supervised the creation of the company s award
winning private brand product, logos, packaging design program with supporting marketing
campaigns utilizing both company resources and vendor coop funds. Fuller also organized
the company s first venture into Plan-o-Gram planned store displays and merchandise
category management to improve ROI by SKU.
