Based on my product image, our marketing partners were able to convey the company as a leader in the industry and I stayed with Rascal right up to the day it was purchased by Micrsoft.

GSD Fenton Leathers, Brookline, MA Senior Product and Package Designer

As the Senior Product and Packaging Designer for the international accessory corporation of GSD Fenton Leathers I was at the forefront of designing fashion accessory lines. My job included travel to Asia twice a year to up grade our source materials as well as develop new manufacturers for rapid production requirements. I have worked many times directing photo shoots and commercial film advertisement. I am the recipient of accessory design awards which have been showcased in Accessory Magazine, the leading trade journal for men and women's accessories. I have also collaborated with internal departments for marketing, point of sales purchase developers, advertising and print editorial. Clientele for GSD Fenton Leathers included: Bendel's in New York City, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Marshall Fields, Lord and Taylor, Ann Taylor and upscale boutiques nationwide.

Achievements

Developed and produced nationally broadcast television programming and commercials for Fortune 500 companies. Many of my product design placement and branding images have become almost iconoclastic for several companies

I have designed and acquired United States Patent, No. 5,792,088.

I was awarded the RHODDY scholarship for Design by the Rhode Island School of Design.

I was given the “Golden Citizen” award for developing an arts curriculum and implementing art education for children and adolescents with long term serious illness at Boston's Children's Hospital. This program is still in use under the auspices of Boston University School for the Arts.

I have earned Certification and Teaching Licenses in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for Visual Art and World History.
