August 2007 to June 2011
United States Marine Corps Twenty-Nine Palms, CA
Small Arms Weapons Technician
As a Small Arms Weapons Technician in the Marine Corps I would service weapons and repair them. I would also keep record on when weapons needed to be serviced and complete the service in a timely manner. I would also troubleshoot and repair weapons from other units. We would have units bring in multiple weapons of the same type that would need to be boxed up and shipped for complete overhauls which cost the government alot of money. I would take those weapons and i would save as many as i could which would result in saving the government alot of money per weapons. Weapons for the military have a large range in price. I believe i saved the military in the four years i served on active duty around $200,000 if not much more.
