It was pretty awesome because I was able to make almost all the decisions regarding technologies used. I project managed the delivery of a new website that met the following requirements:

Spearfishing Panama is actually a venture of my own. I love spearfishing and surfing. Camping 60 miles offshore in Panama and spearfishing tuna is the game plan. A lot of people are interested in the trip so I setup a website. I used shtml because I wanted a quick way of making a modular website. The use of static pages allows for fast load time and quick editing without a backend. Assessed business needs and made use of best technologies.Utilized Google Business Applications to configure powerful email administration and other business tools.Marketed strategies within the spearfishing demographic.Designed website layout for optimal usability.

July 2011

This is my first Facebook app using the PHP SDK and Graph API. At first I was pretty discouraged at how much Facebook changes its API, but I was able to overcome the misleading depricated code and produce a niffty little ecommerce app. Creating this app involved extracting external data and loading it to the facbeook page. I used procedural xml to store admin settings and the rest is just extracted from the external website upon ajax request. Take a look at the screencast for more details:
