Current Project: Voice Browser (Online shopping interface for physically disabled through
voice commands) Clients : Oryan Management (USA) Role : Requirement Analysis, Data Base
Design, Component s / Web Service Design and Development. Application over view: The
solution is to get the links of the merchant sites directly from LinkShare using their
LinkShare Merchandiser Program, Merchants FTP Sites. Providing users with specific site
links that are product-based gathered via a custom web spidering application that goes
through all of the LinkShare domains that are affiliated with www.mallforall.com and
retrieves all of their hyperlinks to provide users the special links to products offered,
and still receive a credit from LinkShare.
A voice and event driven interface is designed and developed to make use of the above
said information for the user to do online shopping. My role involves requirement
analysis, database design, custom web spider application, components and web service
design and development. Development tools and environment: .Net framework 1.1, VB.NET

both on the basis of the dates and month basis, salary statement and pay slips, form 5

Transaction between branches of same bank and reconciliation of transaction between
Central Office of the bank and with Reserve Bank of India. Transferring the data between
the branch and central office of the bank to speedup local clearing the and automating the

Overview: Work flow management is an office automated document management system which is
primarily developed to manage the workflow electronically. File tracking is special
feature which keeps track of files, its location, status and related reports. Development
tools and environment: Outlook 2000, VB 6.0, VB Script, Windows Server 2000, Ms-Exchange
server 2000,SQL Server 2000. Responsibility: I was responsible for understanding the
functional requirements, designing the system, database design, normalization of the
tables, scripting. I was involved in generating the ANSI SQL statements. The database
consists of 60 relational tables ADO is used to access the database.
Project :Expanding Banking and Financial Solutions (XBAFS) . Client :Amanath Co-Operative
Bank, Janatha Co-Operative Bank Role Requirement analysis, Complete Integration of all
the modules, Class Design, Design of User Interface, Database design, Design Reports,
Implementation. Application Overview: Xbafs supports complete range of sophisticated
customer delivery systems - from traditional branch banking to ATMs. It is a fully
integrated Front office transaction processing system for all retail customer transactions
providing the Electronic Banking Solution. The transactions are grouped by the General
Ledger accounts and Sub General Ledger Account and are stored in the database for
report/analysis of the day s transaction in the back office. Supervisory authorization
which facilitates the administrator to add, modify, give permissions and delete various
Operators, Officers, Branches etc. It also specializes in front office devices such as
Term Deposit Receipt and document printers. Development tools and environment: VB 6.0, SQL
Server 2000, Windows XP/2000/NT/9x. Responsibility: As a team Member I was responsible for
understanding the functional/Domain requirements, designing and coding in VB 6.0 and
implementing software in Client place. I was involved in the database design and I took
care of normalization and referential integrity. I also generated reports for this
application, which is a separate entity called Management Information System. I had a
major role to keep track of the Bills, DD, Loans, Term Deposit sub module. Data integrity
has been implemented by the use of SQL triggers and Stored Procedures. The database
consists of 500 relational tables. I was responsible for the whole Integration of the
various modules involved in Xbafs.
Project : Back Office (XBAFS) . Client : Amanath Co-Operative Bank, Janatha Co-Operative
Bank Role : Coordinating development, Testing and Quality analysis, Class Design, Design
of User Interface, Generating Reports. Application Overview: Back Office is a part of the
Electronic Banking Solution developed in VB 6.0. This module is operated in parallel to
the Front office. The Module has 3 major functions. The first being generating the Company
Annual Balance Sheet, General Ledger accounts, Sub General Accounts, RBI Linkages etc.
Second being generating the General Ledger maintenance, issue to various branches, receive
from printing/Head office etc. Thirdly Employee Welfare, Employee Status. Development
tools and environment: VB 6.0, SQL Server 2000, Windows 2000/NT Server Responsibility: As
a team Member I was responsible for understanding the client requirements designing and
coding in VB and implementing software in Client place.
Architecture: The project was developed as a 3-tier architecture. The presentation layer
is VB 6.0. The Back End is SQL Server 2000. The database consists of 500 relational
tables. ANSI SQL was used to ensure compatibility if the client upgraded from SQL 6.5 to
7.0 to SQL 2000. ADO was used to access the database. Data integrity has been implemented
by the use of SQL triggers and Stored Procedures.
