2004 - 2008 Architect / Construction Administrator and Manager - URS Corporation

aai Assigned to work in an advisory capacity on Sohar Fertilizer Plant in Sohar, Oman. The plant was constructed but not in operation and awaiting corrections to be made to the reinforced concrete members that showed signs of stress. My responsibility involved review, approval and management of administration/construction of design changes to mitigate cracks in concrete columns due to structural stress. Attended project meetings to review schedule, quality and safety issues, and any remedial measures required and that work occurred in accordance with the project Deed, Approved Design and Specifications.

aai Construction Manager for a 390 bed Veterans Administration Hospital. The hospital comprised of 3 four storey and 2 four storey type 1 buildings in West Los Angeles. Performed Construction Management functions of coordinating information between the architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing and other consultantsaaiai construction documents to help prevent delays and enable the project to come with in budget and schedule. This also included reviewing Shop Drawings and responding to the Contractoraaiais Requests for Information and Change Orders. Alerted contractor about safety issues.

aai Assigned to Hurricane Katrina Recovery & Response Team in New Orleans. Lead a team of 19 architects & engineers assessing condition survey and repair solutions to over 300 City of New Orleansaaiai medical clinics, city owned school facilities damaged by the hurricane.
